This week we are heading into our final state tests in Math(all grades) & Science(5th & 8th grade). Mr. Hawkins has been busy working with his 8th graders to give them a final push!

Donnie Sloan & Cruz Jimenez from Amory Fire Department visited the Monroe County Career and Tech Center yesterday and demonstrated the “jaws of life,” where the students were able to use special tools to cut their “patient” out of the truck. Our students really enjoyed themselves while learning important life saving tips.

Today, Counselor Dowden is working on individual student plans with the 7th grade. Parents, please ask your child what they learned today from this session.

In support of this important initiative, we are encouraging everyone to wear Bulldawg BLUE on Fridays throughout the month of April. By wearing blue, we not only raise awareness about the prevalence of child abuse but also show our commitment to taking action and advocating for the well-being of children everywhere. Pinwheels were placed at each school in the district to show our awareness.
