ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT

The primary purpose of the Accounting Office of the Aberdeen School District is to support the instructional goals and programs of the District. This is accomplished through the allocation of resources to fund these programs as well as providing support services to the various schools and departments of the District.

The allocation of resources is achieved through the District’s budget process. Funds are allocated so that the schools and departments can carry out the mission of the Aberdeen School District. This budget is managed in the Business Office.

Support services include Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Human Resource. These functions are an integral part of the day-to-day operations of the Aberdeen School District.
